Self-catering holiday home
2Palms - That's the one!
This comfortable, spacious double storey holiday home in Still Bay offers accommodation for 8 guests in four en suite rooms. Smaller groups can also be accommodated in fewer rooms and including the top floor facilities. Prices will of course be according to the size of the group.
These rooms vary in size as well as amenities, but are all neat, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated with loving care and skill. All the bedrooms as well as bathroom facilities are on the ground level. All the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, but there is also a communal or family bathroom. There are no bathroom facilities on the top level.
Also on the ground level is the laundry room offering washing facilities, an iron as well as an ironing board. A washing line is available in the backyard. As a result of the many large windows, the house is airy with lots of natural light streaming in.
Access to the top floor from inside the house is by way of a sturdy wooden staircase with support rails on either side. One can also reach the top floor from the outside by making use of the stairs to the kitchen door located in the backyard. The kitchen as well as the open plan living and dining areas are on the top floor. The outside veranda on top overlooking the town also has a view of the sea and has a table and chairs for outside seating.
Living-dining area and balcony
The open plan living and dining area is spacious and comfortable with various couches, a sizeable coffee table as well as a sideboard. Also a dining table with 8 chairs and a loose-standing cabinet where the TV offering DStv Explora is kept.
The front facing wall consists of a large window complemented by a huge glass sliding door opening onto the undercover balcony. A perfect place to enjoy a sun-downer while nature’s day creatures go to sleep and the night creatures start hunting their prey. If you stay long enough, you might observe a pair of owls or even a bush buck family grazing in someone’s garden.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with all the necessary items and implements needed for cooking, eating as well as washing up. These include a dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, stove as well as a kettle and toaster. The back door opens onto a staircase leading down onto the lawn in the backyard.
Outside area
The house is fenced off from the street as well the neighbours. In turn the front and back yards are separated with a picket fence making the backyard a safe place for small children and dogs to play. In a corner of the backyard is a thatch roof lapa sporting a large built-in braai where many a glorious afternoon or evening can be spent.
The lockable garage can harbour one vehicle, but more open parking space is available also behind the lockable gates.
